In March, the Set Tiko team travelled to the South Island to connect with our wider Pacific community. This involved attending the Canterbury Polyfest 2024 in Christchurch.
The Canterbury schools put up such a solid performance. We took clips of these amazing moments and posted them to our Tiktok where lots of our youth engaged with our content. Meanwhile, Instagram is still an echo chamber for our posts *laughs in cringe* but feel free to follow us here 😉
We also talked with students from Shirley Boys and Burnside Highschool about what we've been up to and connected with important health services like Moana Va, Vaka Tautua, Te Tahi Youth, and Practice Plus. ÅŒtautahi was a success and we loved learning about what's available for Pacific youth.
If you want to connect with us next time we're in Christchurch feel free to reach us at: admin@settiko.co.nz
